Nitin Vishwakarma:
Hi All,
My name is Nitin Vishwakarma, and I am from Raipur Chhattisgarh. I have joined webaccess India on 17-May-2010.After I completed my DAC from C-DAC Akurdi, Pune.
I was worried about the placements. when I got selected to Mumbai’s well known firm WEBACCESS.And guess what, I got JAVA,one of the most anticipated streams. We learnt html, javascript, css, Software Engg., Ajax, Core Java from well qualified and accomplished people. Although the place was new to us but because of HELPFUL SENIORS and FRIENDLY ENVIRONMENT,we are now very much acquainted to the place and feel as if its our another HOME.
I remember my starting month where we had lectures and simultaneouly test are conducted.
which are a good experince for me. Firstly, i din’t get why this test are conducting, but now i can conclude that those test help me a lot while i am in live-projects.
We had good hands on small projects given by Mr.Bipin Pandey. We learnt a lot from those small project.
Recently, i have completed a live project named Performance review System. Which looks so simple from outside but as complex and huge from inside. Our project members where:
Sumant Natkar(Team Leader)
Yogesh Kambari
Nilam Telekar
and Me.
Sumant Natkar plays a very important role in our team he make us to think beyond our imagination,
and make me think a lot. Starting days of this project he use to say we have to do this and that and ask to make big big documentation and blah-blah. later when our documentation get confirmed by seniors and appriciate our work. Then i came to know why he ask us to do all this stuff.
Tell you frankly, those documentation helps us a lot when we are coding because we covered each and small area in that documentation that we don’t have to think while coding wheather some points are still left to discuss or some points are still left to cover. Every small small area have been covered in those documentation and finally when we code and given our review, our project has been approved.
Nilam Talekar:
Hi,
My name is Nilam Talekar. I joined Webaccess on 17 May 2010. I recruited here from NIIT placement. When I got this job that time I was very excited.
On first day, I was very excited and nervous also because this is my first job. When I came office, that time I knew, that I am in java group. As i came to know that i am in java group. I am bit worried because I have done .NET course from NIIT and I did not have any knowledge about Java. But after few days when I get training and I realized that there is nothing to worried. And I was getting excited to grab a new language i.e Java. With me other 15 peoples joined and all those were new to me, in 2 days we know to each others. Some of them are from java background they also helped to me to learn java.
In training period, some new technologies I learned including HTML,Java Script,Ajax,Struts,Software Engineering etc.. This experience was awesome to me because of our seniors. They are very talented and gave us training very nicely. They are very helpful and friendly ,whenever we needed help they always ready to help us and also solve our problems. After few days when i am use to of mine office timing and schedule. I am very comfortable and feel like my home environment.
Mr.Bipin Pandey, gave us projects in 4 members team. These projects help us, how to analysis? how to design database and also low level design ? and how this help us to develop the software and we also learned how to worked in team. Recently, we worked on live project which is performance review system which helped us to learn some new things.
Overall the training period was very good and I learned lots of things from it.
Sumant H Natkar:
Hi guys!!.I am Sumant H Natkar and i am from pune and following are my experiences which i have had in our company Web Access.
I can clearly remember the day of my interview which was scheduled on 6th May 2010 and i had come to the interview following the reference of Mrs Pravina Ranade. As i was coming from Pune i barely made it in time. There were twenty of us and following the technical rounds only two were selected from them one was me and another was my friend Jeyraj.
Now let me fast forward you by some days to 17th May when sixteen of us actually joined the company.I was nervous as this my first job and also the environment was completely new to me.Our first day very much consisted of orientation for us to the company environment.Soon our training period started which consisted of assignments, lectures and more assignments.
In the course of our training we were given two mini projects first of which was traffic monitoring system and second of which was the performance review system.Through these projects my perspective of what i was going to do in a software company underwent a complete 360 degree shift. My initial thought was what i had to do in a software company was code and only code. But in Web Access through these projects i came to know that not only coding is important but the thought process which goes into putting the system first on paper is of prime importance. This is regarding my project experience.
I also had funny moments which i can remember like the first time i made the tea in a microwave oven and the output was no tea in cup but all of it in the plate of the oven.
Yogesh D Kambari:
Hi all,
I am Yogesh D Kambari.I am From Vangani. I joined Webaccess on 17 August 2010.I got recruited here from NIIT,Thane. I was very nervous that how would be my first company? as I was knowing very little about company.
The first day was just like introduction. We had one test of java on first day.The actual journey started from next day.We learnt HTML,CSS,JAVASCRIPT,CORE JAVA ,MYSQL,AJAX from well qualified people. We got lots of assignment. We learn lots of new concepts by solving those assignments.Every Monday we all had to appear for new exam. Results used to be displayed on notice board.Test were also project oriented.
In our mini project Performance review System(PRS) we got many new things to learn like HOW TO IMPLEMENT AJAX,STRUTS? HOW TO DO ANALYSIS? HOW TO CREATE DATABASE?.and MANY THINGS…During Start of our project our project cordinate(Lisa mam) tolds us to spend maximum time on analysis but we were thinking why too much time is needed for analysis. But afterward we came to know the value of spending extra time for analysis as, we had to make very less changes in our flow of project during development.
Senior member were very friendly and helpful. They resolved our each and every doubt..One thing that I like most is that there is no barrier between senior and junior member. The company is working on the latest technology like Spring, struts which are evolving technologies.
I am very glad that I got the perfect start in my carrier.

Deepak Gowindswami :
I joined web access on 17 may 2010.
My first month of training was knowledge providing one. We got good knowledge of js, css etc. Also Bipin Sir’s SE lectures were most valuable. From his lectures the use of analysis we got to know.
And most interesting was the innoviative solutions assignment of stephen sir. It was good and interesting.
The two mini projects were good. We worked on new frameworks and implemented new logics which was good.
Jeyaraj Elango:
Joined Webaccess on 17th May 2010. I got selected in the company with a reference from my friend Pradip, who is working in the company. Still going around with the “college mood”, I wondered how the “work mood” will be like. The first day started off well, came to know that I was selected for the JAVA group. A weekly training schedule was given to the group. The training period was pretty hectic with lectures, assignments and tests which went on for more than a month. We were divided in groups and got our first project TVRTS. The second project was a mini project on Stock Management and finally the final project Client Status Reporting System. I got to learn the actual software development process while developing these projects. It was a very useful learning experience, the analysis, the exchange of different ideas and the arguments in the group before coming to a solution.
This phase will be helpful all throughout my life……
My First Month at Work – Ashwini
Posted by ashwini.poharkar in Uncategorized on January 8th, 2010
Classes, practicals, submissions, assessments, exams, interviews and finally the day dawned when i finally got to hear ‘Congratulations! You have been selected in WebAccess ‘. At that moment except for the name, i did not have any idea about the company but still it became “my company” from that very moment. All 21 of us were really excited since it was our first job and everyone was extremely happy since we thought that finally we would not have to study anymore and answer exams. So there would only be fun and a luxurious life which soon turned out to be exactly opposite. The first day itself we had to answer an exam and since then we knew that life was not going to be easy here. We all were nervous, excited, thrilled and at the same time were longing to know what exactly would be our work over here.
The first month was pure training and we had to study, solve assignments, answer exams and face the results(which was the most horrible thing of all). But very soon we got used to the environment and started enjoying the work. Our seniors kept on telling us that dedication is what is required here in Web Access and we understood the importance of the same. Every night we used to go back at 10 pm but still there were smiles on our faces because we enjoyed, enjoyed everything. We especially liked the work culture. Everyone seems to be so matured, so composed and so intelligent over here. Very soon each one of us had found his role model in the company and were trying their best to impress them as well to be like them. At 5 noon when we used to return from the tea break, we saw employees of other companies leaving for their homes. Initially we thought that they were so lucky but later we started saying that our second session starts now! This positive change in our thinking, in our behaviour and in our attitude is our real achievement here in Web Access and it is because of our fellow people in Web Access. So 10 years down the line i might be at a very high position in some other company, but i would never forget the initial days of my training, MY FIRST MONTH AT WORK.
