Experience @ WA
Posted by vijay.bansod in Life's like this on January 22nd, 2010
As everyone has own dreams & goals and we try to fulfill them, I believe that I achieved some of them during my tenure at Web Access.
When I look behind over a period, I joined as a trainee, those days was full of assignments, tests and lectures, but I never felt stress, because with lots of responsibilities and new things to learn every day, it ultimately helped me build good working attitude. I had always heard that learning will never stop and this was real time experience for me. Really it was very good learning experience apart from school and college. Usually everyone looks for some help and guidance. I really appreciate my seniors and my colleagues for their valuable guidelines. They showed me proper direction in various modes of life.
Each one has their own uniqueness and qualities. Only thing is there should be some one to point it to them. I joined as trainee then became Developer and finally got an awesome opportunity to handle team. I am really thrilled that I successfully passed these three phases of my professional life and really thanks to the WA family, esp. my team members, who let me feel courage and success from inside. Now I realize that I am very lucky person who got a chance to work and execute my caliber with WA family. In real world ‘Your experience is the only identity’ and I realize this due to WA work culture.
WA culture taught and built my thinking from personal towards team, and this made me understand the power of unity and team work.
Last but not the least my friends, some of them are from my college life and some who became my friends after joining WA. They are the real energy for me and my motivation. They built my moral from time to time. Ya we do have competition each time between us but that is very healthy and for our own development. We always worked as team and honestly gave feedback to each other.
I don’t know its a myth or reality as I have achieved this milestone. I am very excited about the future. But at the same time am very nervous since I will miss WA family and my group. All these days will always remain as my sweet memories. I will really miss you all….

After I completed my DAC from CDAC ACTS, PUNE, I was worried about the placements. I was nervous about WHAT WOULD HAPPEN NEXT,WHERE WOULD I GET THE JOB,WIL I LIKE MY JOB.But all my NERVOUSNESS was converted to EXCITEMENT. when I got selected to Mumbai’s well known firm WEBACCESS.I got what I wanted. To start with,we had a small TRAINING course for first month. But before that,on first day we were put to a ASSESSMENT TEST which decided our actual STREAM in company. And guess what, I got JAVA,one of the most anticipated streams.
Our company has separate offices in two separate buildings. In one
of the buildings, we had our lectures. We learnt HTML, CSS,JAVASCRIPT, COREJAVA, MYSQL from well qualified and accomplished people. Although the place was new to us but because of HELPFUL SENIORS and FRIENDLY ENVIRONMENT,we are now very much acquainted to the place and feel as if its our another HOME.
Today I have completed my training successfully and I have learnt a lot here. Not just the technical knowledge, but also many minor thing which makes a big difference in SUMMATION and actually differentiates a SUCCESSFUL IT PROFESSIONAL from just an IT PROFESSIONAL. WEBACCESS expects each employee to be FULLY INDEPENDENT, FREE THINKING and DECISION MAKING which adds FLEXIBILITY to the company.WEBACCESS is a GREAT PLACE to work with GREAT PEOPLE.I am proud to work here because I know the service we provide is SUPERB. I am pretty much excited to grow with this company.
My First Month At Work – Sandeep

Hi All,
My name is Sandeep Lokhande, and I am from kolhapur, Maharashtra. I have joined webaccess India on 5th October 2009. I got recruited here from C-DAC Akurdi, Pune along with my few friends. Mumbai was very much new to me and webaccess is my very first company,So the first month bound to be enthusiastic and exploratory.
We suppose to undergo some training of 4 months after joining the company. We had schedule for basic languages and technologies to study for next 1 month as part of our training.
Here are some topics that we studied and i could remember,
- Html – Darshan More
- Css – Anuprita Kulkarni
- JavaScript – Sanil shet
- Core java – Yogita Ghotkar
- Jsp & Model in Struts– Ninad Pingle
- Netbeans & view in struts– Jiten Mistry
- Ajax,Controller in struts – Michael Fernando
- SE- Bipin sir
- struts- Pradip Kashid
… And Many More people around me In webaccess.
We had good hands on experience with a small project given by Mr. Bipin Pandey. We had very good experience with project work and I learn a lot, technically, personally. Usually, when someone begins in a new job they’re excited, nervous and above all very humble towards the existing practices that exist in the new workplace. Of course, I had these feelings, but being an agile fanatic, I was pretty sure that I would be able to find some improvement points. Here are some of the specific steps I took during my first month.
1. Start writing a diary : I used to forget what exactly i did in a project or some assignment for which period of time, I come to know this technique little late but its help me to track my work for reference.
2. Started finding solution (rather than avoiding): For all the mistakes i made during coding or personally with my friends i started finding solution to it. And gradually i have started recognizing a considerable change in my work and project consequently.
3. Initiative: I started taking initiative where ever i felt Interest.
I found people extremely open and helpful, I am happy that i have such a nice seniors.
4. Innovation: Stephen Lobo sir,(The C.E.O.) taught us to think innovative solutions.
It was a great over all experience. Earlier i had only heard about it but now I could feel it ; engagement and trust are very much ingrained in webaccess’s work culture. After such a nice month spent I still need to explore and find myself in this wonderful organization.
Here are some photos from Trainee Group,
