This was just another competition like the Sport Fiesta last year. Let me answer some basic questions wandering in your minds.

What was it like?

This game required you to think interesting ideas and you could get a chance to prove yourself in WA.

• Prove yourself? Proving yourself would be if your idea is impressive, unique and implementable then you get the opportunity to lead a team of your choice to bring ‘JAAN’ to your thought.

Requirements

No requirements could stop you if you had an idea jotted down on the imaginnovative sheet. Something like the sheet in the image above.

WA Participation

I am not joking but the last year participation number was 113.  Can you believe?

Actually the Imaginnovative team did not expect the response. We all were just experimenting our thought. And can you see the result.

I am not good at proverbs but let me try to explain using one of them. Sagar was the sutradhar and we all – Mahesh, Ninad, Neetesh and myself were the katputliyas…… I was fun to make posters and hang it all over the office. What say guys?

How did we do it?

Initially Bipin sir declared the contest open and as we expected no response, hum log taras gaye the inbox me mail dekhne ke liye…… but then in some days the inbox started overflowing.

All the ideas were posted on the site where all the WAiets could read it and vote for best 5 ideas. In the first round judges selected few ideas which sounded very impressive. The selected ideas were then interviewed in the second round. And after one hour discussion we had the “Imaginnovative Mind” of WA.

And the winner is

“RUPAM JAISWAL”

With 1st and 2nd runner up to be “Sanjay Sharma”. The winner was awarded with WA trophy and a beautiful certificate at the Annual day. The runners up were also gifted with certificates.

Many ideas which passed the 1st level and entered the second were also felicitated during the monthly project meet. Surprises like the 33rd entry would get a gift or the person with the maximum entries would get a gift.

Now what could be more interesting and fun…….??

But why this blog all of a sudden?….. Is it just a flash back…… or to increase the blog number……. Or to participate in blog winner for this month…….. or is Imaginnovative Minds coming again…….(Shhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh…………..)

Universally hated yet loved by all. The purpose is unknown yet we do it. Whether we are busy or idle, whether we are literate or illiterate, whether we are educated or not or whether we are men or women we all love to do it. GOSSIP is the word we hate to say but love to do. They start “I just hate people gossiping. I don’t like them. I can’t stand them” and then continue getting personal as to what miracle has happen due to somebody’s deeds and “if was in his place I wouldn’t have done it” (There is no realization that he just now finished gossiping).

Well all that is fine but what about the harm that it causes. It ruins somebody’s life, somebody’s relationship and much other destruction. What can be the motive behind it? Why people do it?

Sometimes I feel there are few group of people who have different motive for it. Like some might do it to hurt their enemies (that’s done intentionally) others might do it for their advantage (it’s something like criticize others and you become the hero) others might do it for mere time pass (no intensions of hurting anyone, but someone might get hurt unintentionally) and others might do it unknowingly (these people do not know that they are gossiping or may be don’t want to realize).

Well but the result is the same – it causes happy environment for the one who gossips and might create negative or destructive feeling for the target of the gossip.

The healthy talks are like you appreciate a motive behind a person’s do’s and don’ts (which I would call a discussion and not gossip). Gossip is often called as the sensational and groundless talk about others which only creates a wrong, negative and a biased environment in the group about a person or a group of person.

Though universally it is hated by people but research shows that it is beneficial to all of us. It distresses human mind, boost his happy hormones and keeps him fresh and active.  Gossip is a social weapon that lets us discuss someone when they are not present, may be their attire or hair or personality or personal activities etc.

Gossiping is not confined to female category only. As it was considered long before that it was women’s world to gossip but no more no one has this belief as also men are gossiping (may be some percentage here and there).

What about the media? There are so many TV show based on gossips getting their TRP’s increased. And the newspaper editor need it otherwise what would we read in next day’s Mumbai Mirror or the Bombay Times. But also think how would it feel if you were in Page 3 for your recent Karnama (all gossips about you) and you have no option but just read it like any other person do.

So all you there gossip as much as you want to but just to distress yourself and not to destroy anyone.

Hey you know what…. Don’t tell anyone but even I hate gosipping. Ha ha ha ha ha ha…
