Politics, Selfish and Dumb politicians, Dr. Manmohan Singh and Sarkar Raj

Some parties in India seem to have taken the movie Sarkar Raj seriously.

About a few months ago, Left parties called bandh in Kolkata. Whose GDP loss was it anyway at the end of the bandh etc ?.

BJP had raised oil prices to this extent even when crude didnt cost this high. The Indian National Congress was running for cover, as the current Crude Oil price rise has come as a severe shock to this Party which has been already weighed down by inflation and price rise of essential goods. So it projected itself as if it was still supporting the Common Man and tried to bring down a ruppee or so of the fuel hike and thus projecting Manmohan Singh as the real culprit. India plans to grow at more than just 8%. But for that she requires support from other means of energy. No prizes for guessing what that alternate energy option would come from..ofcourse! Nuclear Energy..but again politics comes into picture.

Current Nuclear Production Capacity: 4,120 MW
Nuclear Production Capacity by 2020(if Nuclear Deal is to take place): 20,000 MW

I dont understand what this whole Nuclear issue fuss is all about. Keeping in mind the power deficit India has to face given it proceeds without any alernate energy source(like Nuclear Energy), it is ironical the way parties like BJP and the Left are behaving.

Its good to see Samajwadi Party agreeing upon with the view of the government in power. But why so late? Why didnt they seek Abdul Kalam’s advice before?

Something you need to know about the Nuclear Deal and as to why INDIA IS TOTALLY SAFE:

Question No 1:
India would face sanctions if India tested a Nuclear Missile.
Answer:
India would anyway face sanctions if it tests any Nuclear war head EVEN NOW.

Question No 2:
Okay. But supposing India invests its tax payer’s money in this deal and then suppose after a few years India does anything that goes against the deal then not only would the deal fall apart but also the money invested. Why is the government fooling the people and wasting money?
Answer:
According to the agreement, in an event something like that happens and the deal is broken, investment settlements can be made. And India doesnt have to worry about losing all the money it invested.

Okay. That clears your doubts. I dont blame you for asking me the above two questions. But..these two questions were actually asked by a senior BJP leader to a senior Congress leader in a live debate on CNN-IBN. And the BJP leader was left searching for words when the questions were answered. How embarrassing! Is this dumb politician capable of running our country? God save us from our ILLITERATE politicians. And the BJP seems to say now that our government betrayed people. Come on! We may be the comman man, but who said we are without brains?

Therefore, it is no rocket science to understand that the Left(Mr. Karat dont forget what your party did in West Bengal) and the BJP (and most other parties) have nothing else in mind rather than POWER. But please Mr. Karat and Mr. Advani understand that this is no Sarkar Raj movie that you have to follow power-cannot-be-given-it-has-to-be-taken. This is essential for India’s growth.

Whatever the current solution is going to be, Manmohan Singh, by standing his ground amid this whole fracas has projected himself as the idealistic prime minister that India was waiting to have all this time. I feel proud about that. Kudos to Dr. Manmohan Singh!! And yes! Dr. Manmohan Singh has faced this criticism before when he pushed the “economic liberalization” package that opened the nation to foreign direct investment. (Remember! When Coco-cola first entered our country and then disappeared. Yup! It was this period).

A Quote from Wikipedia:
“Many see the 1991 liberalization as the first of a series of economic restructuring efforts throughout the 1990s and 2000s that have raised India’s growth rates to amongst highest in world.”

Dr. Abdul Kalam has said, “When our population may touch 1.4 billion people, demand from power sector will increase from the existing 130,000 MW to about 400,000 MW. This assumes an energy growth rate of five per cent per annum”. A scientist knows better than dumb politicians and hence I would go with Dr. Abdul Kalam.

When will our governments start concentrating on running the country than on fixing their seats for next elections?
