Does your browser pass the ACID2 Test?

FireFox 2 still doesnt clear the ACID2 Test for browsers. Thats why when FireFox Beta 3 was released recently, I couldnt wait to test it with the ACID 2 Test. It was said FireFox 3 would be developed to pass the ACID 2 Test. Read on to know if FireFox cleared the test.

FireFox Beta 3

Whats ACID2?
It is a test suite published and promoted by the Web Standards Project that tests many features on a single page and report test results graphically. Acid2 tests features of HTML and, more prominently, CSS.

Rendering in FireFox 2Why?
To identify web page rendering flaws in browsers and authoring tools: to highlight the problems with browsers that do not display it correctly. Acid2 tests how web browsers deal with faulty code, the test is intentionally not written to W3C CSS standard specifications, and fails validation. Browsers that pass the test? Safari was the first web browser to pass the test, with the passing version 2.02 released on October 31, 2005.

I did a checking on FireFox Beta 3 release, and am thrilled(being a FireFox Fan) to announce that FireFox Beta 3 seems to clear the test.

FireFox Beta 3IE still sucks(Yeah! Even IE 7). Man! It gives out one of the worst rendering, another reason for all to switch over to FireFox.
