An image speaks a thousand words. In this blog, I will take you through the 1000 words that two of my paintings speak. The first “Save Ozone” and the second “Energizer”
Save Ozone:

I had painted this for the Maharashtra Level Inter-collegiate Competition. It is also called “State Art Exhibition”.
I wanted to make people aware of the outcomes, if we fail to save our Ozone. The painting depicts the same. The texts have been inserted using a computer application.

Why I selected wonders?
Most people are aware of the wonders of the world. Hence it seems to catch their attention when they see a skull in the wonders.

How?
I used a Photo Print of the wonders. I gave initial shadings to the Print. Since ‘glossy’ prints cant hold colour, I etched the surface off from some part of the face(in order to give way to paint the SKULL). Then I used an ‘Human Anatomy’ book to exact the skull. I used poster colour to paint the skull.
Energizer:
I had painted this during my Diploma College Campaign. It was a campaign for Energizer Batteries. The text and logos have been inserted by using a Computer Application.

The painting depicts the world in the Future. The Colour Scheme used depicts Fantasies.
It seems to say, Energizer will last even in the future, i.e. it is Long Lasting. The picture shows it is generating power for the Whole City. The flying objects around the Battery recharge their power by connecting to this Power Source.
So what do you say? Dont my images speak?

Yes, definitely painting or rather images speak more than 1000 words. But I am really amazed by your cool painting skills on top of a given subject.

Hey superb thought….. i believe the best way to convey message is to present it in a form of a picture as picture speaks louder than words…. Great job..

Nice paintings. I agree with the adage. There is one thing with the paintings – these are individual perceptions unless the creator adds a writeup explaining the thought

An Image speaks a 1000 Words but to listen that, you need to open your eyes not your ear.

Nice work Shirish.. the paintings are exquisite..
I agree with Bipin Sir.. We get individual perceptions until the creator adds a writeup..
Eg:I thought, the tower close to the Energiser Battery was actually another Battery(not an energiser type) that had corroded because of time, while Energiser looked brand new even after ages..
