Fun in the workplace
Posted by bipin.pandey in Did you know? on December 17th, 2007
Work does not have to be monotonous or boring, so we’ll dedicate the first month of the year, Jan 2008 of thoughts decoded to Fun in the workplace – doing things differently and finding ways to make the office an interesting, fun place to be. So decode your thoughts for thoughts decoded…
We had an eventful year in 2007. We are almost on the eve of 2008 with our thoughts on ‘Fun in the Workplace’ decoded and with a resolve to scale new heights during the year.
A lot has happened during the year 2007 – we’ve welcomed new people, new technologies and new ideas into our fold, incorporated our company in the US of A, developed new products, became Top 100 IT Innovator company, CiviCRM became the most recommended CRM product amongst NPOs against giants like Salesforce – yet our basic philosophy has remained the same – that our employees are above all.
Time to revamp WA Blog Point System?

Hello All. Its been more than 3 months since the start of ThoughtsDecoded. The spirit has been enthusiastic, which has been bad news for the WA BLOG Judges who decide winners. Bad News because the Blogs are getting better by the month and the competition is getting neck in neck and its getting harder for us to decide.
Here’s a look at our pointing system(PLOT):
1. Popularity (10 Marks)
How popular the Blog is in WA? (includes comments)
2. Level of Interest (10 Marks)
Whether the Author submitted the blog voluntarily, i.e. without being asked for?
Whether the Author actively participates in responding to the comments
3. Originality (Content)(10 Marks)
Whether the Blog is purely his/her work and not adapted? If adapted to which extent?
4. Thought Provoking (Content)(10 Marks)
Is the Blog the same old Gheesa-Peeta blog or does it sound new and interesting and lets you think?

SMS: Short Message Service….About.com defines SMS as “Short Message Service” is a feature available in most modern digital phones, that lets users receive and send short text messages.We will say a very handy way to communicate cheaply thru cell phones.But had anyone ever thought that one day it would taken as a tool to decide the fate of some singer to be an Idol or Winner of musical shows.
Judging by ppl vote is not a very good option when it comes to certain competition’s.(why don’t we have voting system for picking up the best film in OSCARS..or u say winner of Arjuna Awards, Bharat Ratna Award etc)Then why in case of singing we leave it for the ppl to decide? is music is so easy to understand…?then why do we need judges??..for only to pass comments and fight and adding spice to the show..??
