GGA – Technology revolutionizes Rural India!

GGA-Gramin Gyan Abhiyan is rural development project envisioned by M.S. Swaminathan Research Foundation (MSSRF), which is one of the harbingers of rural empowerment in India. This aims to enlighten rural people and spread the knowledge across villages using technology as a medium. We, at Web Access are delighted to having acted as technology partner to help MSSRF usher knowledge revolution in rural India.

Using Drupal CMS, we have developed web-based solution for GGA, which allows people to communicate and share their information. Drupal is a robust CMS that can handle large content and pool of huge user database. We have customized Drupal to cater to needs of GGA.

Features:

  • The design provided by Prof. Trivedi was awesome. And we weren’t sure, if it was possible to re-create in Drupal. However our Design Team, took on the task and we were able to re-create the fabulous looking web interface.
  • A discussion forum, where people can post their queries and get to know problem faced by others.
  • Ability to create/manage events and eventually publish them on web so that people are well aware about the progress of the Mission.
  • File sharing feature allows users to download relevant documents and upload their findings.
  • We have also classified data in different categories, which simplifies search and ensures fast retrieval of information and data specific to a particular user.
  • Picture gallery gives visual description of events and various occasions. People can share and upload their pictures.

Instead of that they help sysadmins as well as every-day-users to make their systems safe concerning possible attacks from hackers.

If you want to know about hackers, you must know about crackers (we call them criminals) bcoz you must differentiate between these two.
