@michael:

Right!! I would say nothing is Ideal. It varies from person to person :)

You are definately right.. without venturing how would one know what's there on other side of the horizon. But one should not forget ones boundaries. More importantly, its about identifying halts in ones journey.

After all, we all are humans and as you know Humans are never satisfied with what they have...

Nice thought Kurund! Speaks another mentality, another ideal. Its good that you stand by your ideal.

However, my ideal(which seems to be pretty much different from you) is explained below.
While some choose to settle down and get satisfied by what they get, some choose to move on and cross more mountains. After all, you would be capable of analyzing your past state to your present state IF AND ONLY IF you get to see whats beyond the mountain. You would think this is the happiest place for you, but that might prove wrong when you see whats beyond. And you would get to see it, only if you cross the mountain.

The age-old saying that money is NOTHING in life, has been said by only RICH people, who have already experienced what it means to be amongst ample amount of money(and by some missionaries, but no one tends to keep their advice in mind). It is like saying, "We have reached this position and believe it or not it sucks. Don't come here". But if it's that bad, why don't they come down and give away all that they have to charity and live an immaterial life?

Bill Gates(who tried to sue the OpenSource world out of frustration because they had implemented something that Microsoft was holding Patent for; but as usual forgot that Windows itself breaches several Patents), doesnt seem to have gone through this Proverb:
“Nothing is Impossible”

I agree with Kurund Sir,

Money is PART of life, not HEART of life.
But their is darker side,if LIFE wants PARTS other than HEART then its not a grate deal!!!!
But the other parts never took place of HEART,so i agree with Kurund Sir in most cases like
one described above.
